Refugee Resettlement Infographic

June's graphic is a refugee resettlement infographic which highlights global displacement trends, as well as US resettlement trends. I hope you notice the stark contrast between the two. The US resettled over 200,000 refugees in 1980, and last year that number dipped below 70,000. On the other hand, total global displacement has grown from 10 million to 65 million since 1980. Why are we doing less now that the need is so much greater? The refugee resettlement infographic also highlights the shooting in Orlando earlier this month, and the release of Seeking Refuge, an excellent book offering a biblical perspective of the global refugee crisis.
