The Church & Refugees: Video
Hey Friends! I am so pleased to officially release Faith & Forced Migration's first video! Some of you have already seen this video because you are part of my newsletter list. If you liked it, now is the time to share it! For those who aren't subscribed to our newsletter, you can sign up and get early access to resources like this. The Church & Refugees video features an interview with Solomon Dixon, a friend of mine from my college days. His church in Chicago follows and house church model in order for members to really get involved in their neighborhoods and communities. This provides so many amazing opportunities to share the love of Christ on a daily basis in practical ways. One of the ways they are intentionally living out their faith in the truly global city of Chicago is by loving and serving refugees in partnership with the World Relief Chicago office.
Listen to Solomon talk about his passion for the nations, the biblical command to welcome the stranger, and the obstacles his church had to overcome to get involved with refugees.
Give me a shoutout (in the comments, on social media, or through our contact form) if you like this form of media communication and if you would like me to do more videos like this. I could also do monthly updates where I just chat about current events in the world of forced migration and what I'm learning and reading. Hopefully this will only be the first of many more videos!
